Born and raised in San José, CA
Received my B.S. in Political Science from Santa Clara University in 2009
Spent several years developing skills and pursuing my passion in community development working in the Public Sector.
I served two AmeriCorps terms, one as a VISTA in Oakland, CA and again in NYC Civic Corps.
Served on the Housing & Community Development Advisory Commission for the City of San José
Youngest staffmember of team at David Packard's public policy advocacy organization, representing almost 400 tech companies of Silicon Valley, working to advance housing & community development issues
Took a solo backpacking trip travelling 10 countries in Europe for 4 months before moving to NYC.
Became self-employed as a Graphic Designer and Front-End Developer.
Served as an Executive Volunteer for HERA UK in London, helping women who survived trafficking and domestic abuse situations to become successful entrepreneurs
Graduated with Masters degree in Interaction Design Communication at University of the Arts: London College of Communication
Worked as a UX Specialist for tech agency in London, advocating and implementing for user-centered approaches and methodologies in the design process.
I'm passionate about designing and innovating solutions for people. Problem-solving, creativity, and taking risks for the greater good are my absolute joys in life.
